Günter es un dels primers jugadors de Go Europeus. Campió d'Europa en la dècada dels 60 i disciple de Felix Dueball.
Actualment no juga a go, pero manté un estret vincle amb tot el que es el mon actual del Go i la cultura Japonesa.
Günter is one of the first Go players of Europe. Disciple of Felix Dueball and European champion in the 60's. At the moment is not playing go, but is in permanent contact with de world of go and the Japanese culture.
